Workday Kick-Off September 11 & 12, 2025: Energy, Work–Life Balance and a Flying Start
On September 11 and 12, Eindhoven turned orange and blue. For the third year in a row we had the pleasure of organizing the annual Workday Kick-Off—and what a start to the new business year it was.
Who is Workday?
Workday is an international provider of HR, finance and planning software solutions. Their cloud platform helps organizations worldwide streamline HR, payroll and financial processes. Innovation and a strong employee culture are at the heart of what they do. That’s exactly why an annual kick-off fits so well with Workday: it brings people together, sets the direction and strengthens collaboration.
An Early Morning of Quick Thinking
Joost and I arrived at the hotel before sunrise. The room setup? Not quite what we’d agreed on. No problem: within minutes we and the hotel team had moved every chair and table. No one noticed a thing. That’s how it should be—a great kick-off starts with smooth teamwork behind the scenes.
Why a Kick-Off Is Essential
A kick-off is more than a fun day. It’s a strategic moment to unite the team, share goals and energize everyone for the year ahead.

Workday showed exactly how powerful that can be. The theme of work–life balance took center stage. The keynote speaker went beyond theory, offering practical tools the team could use right away. The result? Recognition, lively conversations and concrete ideas for staying healthy and productive.
Padel Power and Pure Fun
Midday came the challenge: the Workday team versus the padel coaches. The rallies flew across the net and Workday took the win—a perfect mix of effort, relaxation and pure enjoyment.
Eindhoven at Its Best
Once again we uncovered a few local gems: a hotel and a restaurant that fit perfectly with our list of trusted partners. These kinds of suppliers make all the difference when you want both quality and atmosphere.
